Who is John Pompliano?

Short answer: John Pompliano is an American data scientist and podcast host based in Miami, Florida. He currently serves as a data analyst at Comscore, Inc. Pompliano is also the co-host of a podcast show “The Best Business Show”, through which he dives deep into interesting stories on various companies, entrepreneurs, and businesses every weekday. Pompliano is best known for his leadership, research, time management, team working, and critical thinking skills.

Education

Pompliano was born in Miami, Florida. He later relocated to North Carolina to pursue his studies. He enrolled at High Point University, North Carolina, and obtained his bachelor’s in business administration in 2018.

During his graduation, Pompliano undertook various internships ranging from two to three months. In 2016, he interned with Full Tilt Capital, a venture capital firm, and gained insights and knowledge about various venture capital trends, learned about developing revenue and expenses projections, and participated in various fundraising efforts. Later in the same year, Pompliano took an internship with a political party, wherein he was responsible to motivate the people to vote and help them analyze the candidates for the Presidential elections based on facts. He also worked on developing the censuses reports for the party. In 2017, he got an internship at Bloom Credit, wherein he was directly working under the top management people including the CEO and CFO. During the internship, Pompliano learned about the various aspects of growth and strategic operations.

Career

During 2015-2017, Pompliano worked as a showroom assistant at Vanguard Furniture, while simultaneously managing his graduation. He was responsible for inventory management, supervising the operations team, planning and delivering configurations for floor displays, and delivering satisfactory customer interactions. During the year 2015, Pompliano also joined the Pi Kappa International Fraternity as an executive member. He served the organization for 3 years until he finished his graduation.

In 2018, after completing his graduation, Pompliano joined Comscore, Inc. as an analyst. Over the 4 years, Pompliano has worked on developing market analysis reports for various fortune 500 companies, analyzed 100+ quantitative data sets, and developed customized reports for clients based on the analysis. He has been known for overseeing the development and implementation of over 10 major company projects. He has also received several company awards including the “High 50 Award”, awarded to employees who demonstrate “outstanding work delivering superior results”

Volunteering activities

Apart from his professional analyst career, Pompliano is also associated with various organization and serve as a volunteer for them. He was a student fundraiser for the Jimmy V Foundation during the years 2014-2017 and has collectively raised over $130,000+ for Jimmy V Cancer Research through multiple series of philanthropy events including a Golf Tournament, Auctions, Raffles, and Games. He has also served as a volunteer for the Miracle League of the Triangle. He currently serves as a mentor for a non-profit organization, Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, which is focused on creating and supporting one-to-one mentoring relationships that ignite the power and promise of youth.
